Threads is ready to be introduced by Meta as a competitor to Twitter or X. When it was introduced, it managed to become one of the applications that recorded more than 100 million registered users in just about 5 days.Most recently, according to data from Similarweb, it is seen that Threads now reaches around 115 million daily active users, which is approaching X which has a daily user figure of around 132 million. This is also due to more and more people leaving X, while more people are active on Threads.It is not impossible that we will see Threads surpass X's user numbers soon - not to mention the various content shared on X which is not as interesting and user-friendly, compared to Threads.According to data shared by Similarweb as well, this close user figure is on the mobile application, while on the web, X is still far ahead compared to Threads which is not used by many.In addition to both, there are several more or less similar services on the market, including Mastodon, Bluesky and Daun.
