Lauren Boebert suggests God wanted her to win GOP primary after Beetlejuice escapade

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) suggested that God favored her candidacy in the Republican primary election she won.The Colorado Republican told supporters in her new congressional district that she would work to make the U.S. a “righteous nation recognized throughout the world again” by bringing back “conservative values” and “Christian morals," reported The Daily Beast.“Tonight we had a priority, and that was to glorify and honor God," Boebert said. "To praise the name of Jesus, to invite the Holy Spirit to be present, not only in this room, but in Colorado’s 4th District, throughout Colorado, and throughout the United States of America!” The right-wing firebrand changed congressional districts to avoid a serious challenge from well-funded Democrat Adam Frisch, whom she narrowly defeated in 2022, to the deep-red 4th District, where she defeated five GOP contenders for the seat held by the retiring Rep. "Your rights that you have been endowed with are not the government’s to legislate away, to reason away, to purchase away, and that is what I will always continue to fight for."
