Czech Defense Firm “Excalibur Army” Opens Office in Ukraine
Czech defense manufacturer Excalibur Army has officially opened a representative office in Ukraine. This was reported with reference to a statement on the company’s website. Excalibur Army claimed that the new office will help streamline logistics, enhance cooperation with Ukrainian partners, and facilitate the launch of joint production of defense systems on Ukrainian territory. The company said the Ukrainian branch will also manage orders, handle documentation, and provide technical support and consulting. Since the start of Russia’s invasion, the company has delivered over 1,000 ground-based platforms to Ukraine, including main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery systems, and rocket launchers. In addition, it has supplied more than 2 million large-caliber ammunition rounds. As part of its long-term plans, Excalibur Army also announced a joint project with Ukrainian defense company Ukrainian Armored Vehicles to begin local production of large-caliber munitions. Recently, Excalibur Army revealed it is investing approximately 650 million Czech koruna (around €27 million) into expanding its production facilities to further support the modernization of Soviet-era armored vehicles intended for Ukraine.
