Rare sight

An endangered eastern grass owl flies high in the sky after being released into the wild Mar. 4 in southern Taiwan’s Tainan City. It was rescued last December and statistics compiled by the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency’s Chiayi Branch show that there are only 500 such owls left in Taiwan. (Courtesy of FANCA)
