As we accelerate into summer, the Belleville Police and Quinte West OPP is joining forces to enhance road safety for everyone. This month, expect an increased police presence along Old Highway 2 from RCAF Road in Trenton through Belleville to Tyendinaga. The emphasis will be on the Big 4 - impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding and seatbelt use.   This initiative comes at a crucial time. This week, three residents lost their lives in collisions, one of which occurred on Old Highway 2.
