UPDATE: County Rd 25 re-opened following fatal collision

County Rd 25 has now re-opened between Concession Rd 11 East and County Rd 35 following a serious collision. The Northumberland Detachment of the OPP is investigating a fatal collision involving a passenger vehicle in the area of County Road 25 and County Road 35. On July 11, 2025, at around 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the single vehicle collision along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Fire Department. The lone occupant, a 54-year-old male, from the Municipality of Trent Hills, was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
