Picton woman facing impaired charges

The public continues to assist police with locating impaired drivers. On Wednesday, July 9 around 9:30 p.m., officers with Prince Edward OPP responded to traffic complaint in Picton where a member of the public suspected that a driver was impaired. Officers located the vehicle and an approved roadside alcohol screening device was utilized on the driver, who was then taken back to the OPP detachment for further testing. Chelsea Collins, 34, of Picton, has been charged with operation while impaired and operating a vehicle with more than 80-plus blood alcohol concentration levels.
