Impaired driver arrested in Lindsay following traffic complaint

Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the OPP entered into an impaired driving investigation after receiving a traffic complaint for driving behaviour. On Saturday July 05, 2025 at approximately 9:04 pm officers responded to a traffic complaint regarding a motor vehicle northbound on Highway 35 south of Highway 7. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in Lindsay and entered into an impaired driving investigation. The driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving related charges as well as Highway Traffic Act Offences.
