First fire master plan in development in Quinte West

The City of Quinte West is planning ahead to ensure effective future delivery of fire protection and emergency services. Fire Chief John Whelan stated a 10-year Fire Master Plan will help ensure fire services keep pace with growing community needs by assessing current operations and identifying opportunities for improvement. The plan, the first of its kind in Quinte West, will provide a clear framework for long-term planning related to fire prevention, emergency response, staffing, equipment, and infrastructure, aligned with provincial standards and the municipality's Strategic Plan.
