Beyond the Headlines - United Way Day of Caring

When you connect with the community, good things happen. The ultimate example of that happened yesterday with this year's United Way of Hastings-Prince Edward Day of Caring. Team members from 19 different workplaces fanned out across the Quinte Region to take on meaningful, hands-on volunteer projects for community agencies and programs. One example happened at Bridge Street United Church in Belleville, where volunteers painted the gymnasium and tackled exterior work to help restore the building to its original purpose as a community church.
