Beyond the Headlines - local hospital funding announcement

As demand on our healthcare system increases, it is vital for their to be renewed investments in multiple areas. The province stepped up yesterday to acknowledge that fact with one-time funding of more than 1.6 million dollars for a series of infrastructure projects at Quinte Health. The money will be used to replace the hot water boiler, domestic hot water, passenger elevator, medical air/gas upgrade and the air distribution system at Trenton Memorial.  It will also fund a new hot water recirculation line on Quinte 6 at Belleville General.
