Motorcycle driver deceased following collision on Hwy 7

The driver of a motorcycle has died from their injuries following a collision on Highway 7 between Kaladar and Sharbot Lake. On Friday, July 11, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., members of the Frontenac Detachment of the OPP responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 7 near Pleasant Hill Lane. No other vehicles were involved. The 71-year-old male from the Ottawa area was transported to hospital but died from his injuries.
