Head-on collision in Denbigh claims two lives

Two drivers are dead after a head-on collision in Denbigh, east of Bancroft. Officers with the UOV, Bancroft and Renfrew OPP Detachments, along with members of the Denbigh Fire Department and Renfrew County Paramedics, responded to the crash on Highway 28 near Trout Lake Road, just before 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30. Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene and there were no passengers. The identities of the decreased males have not been confirmed.
