Fallen Tear: The Ascension will launch in early 2026
Fallen Tear: The Ascension, the newest game from Winter Crew and CMD Studios, is gearing up for its big release. The JRPG-inspired sidescrolling Metroidvania is scheduled for release in Q1 2026, initially arriving on PC via Steam before heading to consoles. The girl leads you through the lands of Raoah, where you gather a cast of allies; these allies are the source of new skills and perks that you can unlock. These powers are the key to strengthening your abilities and finding new paths among the overgrowth and ruins. In Fallen Tear: The Ascension, you challenge the gods of elemental powers in an attempt to uncover the secrets of the world, as well as the past of the protagonist, Hira. Explore the diverse biomes that cover the planet and utilize Hira’s abilities to navigate the natural obstacles on your path. Use the skill tree system to craft a personal playstyle and adapt to any challenge on the fly. Discover secrets and hidden areas by solving puzzles unique to each location, and grow stronger to challenge even more elemental gods. All of this adventure is wrapped in a package of beautiful hand-drawn animations and top-notch voice-acted characters. Fallen Tear: The Ascension is set for release during Q1 of 2026, meaning you can expect it to launch on PC via Steam sometime between January and March, after which it will also become available on other platforms.
