GRAVELORD is a retro-inspired FPS from FATBOT Games, that blends nostalgic gameplay elements with modern twists. Step into the booths of Queedo, a sharp-tongued gravedigger who uses his arsenal of weapons, Tarot card-based power-ups, and his shovel to drive back the mortally challenged. In this regard, GRAVELORD is very similar to genre classics such as Quake and DOOM but it adds its own, undead, touch. However, where these games mostly focus on a stoic, silent protagonist GRAVELORD equipped Queedo with quippy remarks, not too dissimilar to another classic, Duke Nukem. This combines with a roguelike-esque system to upgrade and personalize your guns to give you a game that is jam-packed with high-octane thrills where you kick ass all day long! The game even includes comic book pages strewn throughout the levels so those who want to can piece together the story. So grab your shovel, pick up some tarot cards, and beat back the undead to where they belong, under the ground. GRAVELORD enters Early Access on Steam on January 22nd. This will come with the full first episode of the game and will feature a bonus level. After the initial release, the Early Access edition will receive a level editor so players can play around even more.
