Bare Butt Boxing, a brand new multiplayer brawler from AAA visual effects studio Tuatara Games, will release its full version featuring three new maps and two new gameplay modes on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch next month. In the game, colorful and mischievous aliens land on Earth to host unregulated boxing matches. Players can earn points by launching opponents or a giant beach ball into portals, depending on the game mode. The player with the most points at the end of the round wins. The game supports local matches with up to 3 friends, online matches with up to 6 players, and single-player mode with bots. Players can collect item boxes to use special powers like the vacuum and super frenzy to gain an advantage. They must also navigate stage hazards such as gusting winds on the mountain top and disappearing platforms at the neon disco arcade. A variety of cosmetics are available for customization, including new skins, fonts, and alien boxing glove styles. These can be used in local play and unlocked for online play with in-game coins. The game also features an intergalactic soundtrack composed by Grand Soleil. Bare Butt Boxing will be available in its 1.0 version on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
