Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged releases its first trailer

It’s unlikely that everybody who reads this has heard about it since the original game came out in 1996, but Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars is back! The first entry in the famed Broken Sword series of point-and-click adventure games got a complete reimagining. This mainly means the beautiful, hand-drawn art has been updated. Aside from that, it offers the same classic adventure fun and an interesting narrative full of inventive puzzles to explore. The game has never looked more glorious, as you can tell from the trailer below. Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged will release on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Thursday, 19th September 2024. A physical Collector’s Edition version was also announced. And who knows, if this game does well maybe we’ll see the rest of the Broken Sword series also get a rerelease.
