Chronicle Games have just revealed a brand new trailer for their upcoming creature evolution RPG, Strange Seed. In this exciting new game, players defeat creatures, collect their DNA, and evolve new parts for their own creature. For example, you can give a chicken crab legs or replace its wings with armoured plates. As you progress, you’ll need to adapt your creature to overcome various challenges, such as thorny barriers, high cliffs, or fast-moving enemies. You can check out the new trailer below. Key features: Endless Evolutions: The game offers over 100 million possible combinations at launch. Metroidvania Challenges: Certain parts grant special abilities, like breaking walls, flying, or even reading. Customization: Players can equip their creatures with various objects, such as hats, horns, or even weapons, depending on the creature’s anatomy. Retro Inspirations: Strange Seed contains hidden references to classic games like E.V.O.: Search for Eden (1992), which later inspired Spore. Strange Seed is set to make its debut on PC via Steam soon. A demo of the game will be available on the 26th of September.
