He is the founder and CEO of Pisces Audio-Visual Limited, a leading production company in Lagos, Nigeria.Akanbi has written and directed numerous documentaries, TV commercials, films, and dramas, including "Eyes Wide Open", "Daodu of Nigerian Theatre", and "Treasures of Nigeria", which has been nominated for an award. He has also produced two home videos, "Yemisi Owereke" and "Ewonlaafin", which was showcased at the Toscana Festival in Italy. His TV soaps include "This Life", "Odd World", "Behind the Siege", and "So Wrong So Wright".
