The Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) is scaling up its Healthy Soil Healthy Food project, spotlighting agroecological farming and farmer-led entrepreneurship. At the center is Ruth Nabaggala, whose work with PELUM Uganda has helped over 100,000 farmers transition from subsistence to market-oriented farming.
