SUSHISAMBA Bahrain: A Deep-Dive With Chef Sergio Galaz

Beginning his journey in the kitchen at the young age of 18, SUSHISAMBA Bahrain’s Chef Sergio Galaz has lent his name to several restaurants in Mexico City, Doha, Turkey and now in Bahrain. Chef Galaz brings 22 years of culinary experience, inspired by cuisines from different cultures that he credits to fuelling his meteoric rise in the global F&B industry. Now, a resident of Bahrain, Chef Galaz is spearheading the Japanese-Brazillian-Peruvian restaurant at the Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour. In this exclusive interview, Chef Galaz spoke to us about what he believes makes restaurants special, his recommendations at SUSHISAMBA Bahrain, and a sneak peek into what’s in store for diners at the restaurant.
