RAK Art Foundation Is Featuring 20 Bahraini Artists in Baku This Month

Bahrain-based RAK Art Foundation will feature nearly 20 Bahraini artists at QGallery in Baku, Azerbaijan. Kickstarting on 30th August, the exhibition will showcase pieces from RAK Art Foundation’s collection that have been curated by its founder, Rashid Al Khalifa over a period of time. In May, the Foundation announced its collaboration with the State Art Academy, Baku. The partnership begins with the exhibition QGallery, which is poised to be the first of many artistic and educational collaborations and exchanges between the RAK Art Foundation and the Academy. The exhibition at Baku’s QGallery aims to introduce Bahrain’s vibrant art scene to art enthusiasts and collectors in the capital city of Azerbaijan. The Artists Along with Rashid Al Khalifa’s 1983-produced work, nearly 50 artworks by 20 artists will be on display at the exhibition. The artists include: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to share the remarkable talent of Bahraini artists with QGallery and the art lovers in Azerbaijan.
