iCheck: How Think Pink Bahrain is Empowering Women with a Digital Self-Detection Tool

Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers affecting women worldwide, but early detection and education can make all the difference in saving lives. Think Pink: Bahrain Breast Cancer Society has been empowering women to take a closer look at their health and well-being through awareness, education, and support. Think Pink’s mission is to spread the importance of breast self-examination. “Being “breast aware” means knowing what is normal for your body and taking the time to conduct monthly self-exams. The process takes just 8 minutes, but it can make a huge difference in early detection and peace of mind. While most lumps are not cancerous, any noticeable changes should be investigated promptly,” said Dr Julie Sprackel, Founder of Think Pink Bahrain.
