Gulf Air’s Direct Flights to China Will Begin in May 2024

Bahrain’s National Carrier, Gulf Air will commence its much-awaited scheduled flights to two Chinese destinations starting in May 2024. The announcement of the China route was made by the airline in October last year. The destinations include Guangzhou, located in southern China and renowned for its culture and vibrant manufacturing sector, and Shanghai, China’s largest city and financial hub. Both routes will boost connectivity between Bahrain and China, one of the world’s fastest-growing economies and a global tourism market. A little bit about the two destinations Guangzhou Guangzhou serves as the cultural and gastronomic hub of Guangdong province and an entry point to southern China, encompassing Hong Kong and Macau. It ranks among China’s most diverse cities, featuring an array of museums, art galleries, entertainment spots, and urban parks. The city offers an endless variety of tasty cuisine, and you’re always just about an hour from stunning natural scenery. Shanghai Shanghai stands as China’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan city, boasting a diverse culinary culture typical of such a melting pot.
