KWASU Issues Notice on JAMB's 1-Year Law Admission Ban
Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has confirmed JAMB’s decision to suspend admissions into its Law programmes for one year. The suspension follows a ruling by the Council for Legal Education (CLE) over the university’s approval process when launching the programme. Reason for the Ban KWASU began its Law programme in 2018 with approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) but without clearance from the Council for Legal Education (CLE). The CLE’s sanction led to JAMB enforcing a one-year suspension on Law admissions for the 2025/2026 session. Current Accreditation Status KWASU now holds full accreditation from both: National Universities Commission (NUC)
