BREAKING: Fire guts Ayefele's Fresh FM in Ibadan
A fire outbreak on Friday affected Fresh FM, a well-known radio station located in the Felele area of Ibadan South-West Local Government Area of Oyo State.The blaze, which began a few hours earlier, disrupted activities at the station and forced a halt to normal operations.As at press time, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were yet to be ascertained.Confirming the incident in a telephone chat, the General Manager, Oyo State Fire Services, Rev Akinyemi Akinyinka said, “our men are on the ground. The situation is under control.”Fresh FM, established by renowned musician and broadcaster Yinka Ayefele, ranks among the most popular radio stations in Ibadan.Details later.
