Gov Otti lifts 10-year promotion embargo on Abia polytechnic
The Abia State Governor, Alex Otti of Abia, has lifted an embargo on promotion of staff of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic (formerly Abia Polytechnic) Aba. Former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s administration placed an embargo on staff promotion in the polytechnic in 2015. The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Njoku, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Umuahia. The governor also approved all accumulated promotions of the staff of the institution.
