CHIEF ONUNKWO CONGRATULATES ODOGWU ON RE-ELECTION AS NUJ CHAIRMAN

The leading aspirant for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket in the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial by-election, Chief (Dr) Ebuka Onunkwo, has congratulated Comrade (Dr) Odogwu Emeka Odogwu on his re-election as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council.In a congratulatory message, Chief Onunkwo described Comrade Odogwu as an inspirational leader and a dedicated journalist who has consistently made remarkable strides in community life, academic pursuits, and the media industry."Comrade Odogwu's re-election is a testament to his exemplary leadership and commitment to the noble profession of journalism," Chief Onunkwo noted, adding: "the Igbo saying that 'a man's name leads him' continues to resonate in Comrade Odogwu's life, with his numerous achievements setting him apart as a shining star in the media world."Chief Onunkwo reaffirmed his unwavering support for the media, recognising the essential role journalism plays as "the oxygen of democracy."
