PRESS RELEASE.The attention of the Director General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF); Dr. Oluwatoyin Afiz Ogun has been drawn to a misleading publicationpurportedly announcing Hon. Oladele Alfred as his official Spokesperson.For records purposes, the DG/CE of ITF speaks through establishedchannels within ITF which are; ITF Directorate, ITF Public Affairs Department, ITF Zonal Public Relations Officers and the ITF Area Managers. There is no avenue for persons external to ITF to be appointed to speak on behalf of the DG/CE. The DG/CE is laser focused on his role which is to re-engineer ITF to deliver on its mandate regarding the promotion of skills acquisition, professional trainings and certifications for Nigerians.The multiple special and intervention programs being implemented by ITF under the leadership of the DG/CE have already repositioned ITF as acritical catalyst for transformation of Nigeria. This places additionalresponsibilities on the DG/CE and he will not be distracted by anyexternalities.Whilst still felicitating with Nigerians on the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations, we once again, urge all to disregard the rumoured appointment of Hon.
