NPFL: Remo Stars, Enyimba Grab Continental Tickets; Sporting Lagos, Doma Relegated

Remo Stars finished second on the Nigeria Premier Football League table following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Katsina United. Sadiq Ismail opened scoring for Remo Stars in the 19th minute, while Dayo Ojo added the second 10 minutes later. Michael Ibe reduced the deficit for Katsina United 14 minutes from time. Remo Stars by virtue of their position will compete in the CAF Champions League next season. Dethroned champions Enyimba secured a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing third on the log. The Aba giants defeated Plateau United 2-0 in their last game of the season. Chijioke Mbaoma and Alade Balogun were the goal scorers for the home team.
