Chelsea Join Race For Super Eagles Star

Chelsea are interested in signing Atalanta and Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman and are prepared to offer close to €60m according to reports. The London club have already been busy in the transfer market and have signed Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham. They have also agreed deals to sign Aston Villa’s Omari Kellyman and Barcelona’s Marc Guiu. The Blues are in the market for a wide player having been heavily interested in Michael Olise, before pulling out of a deal because they believed the finances were beyond their reach. However, Italian outlet Calciomercato have reported that Chelsea are interested in Lookman, and they are prepared to offer close to €60m for him. The report also adds that fellow Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested in the 26-year-old. Lookman had a brilliant season for Atalanta and scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.
