The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) and business consulting and investment strategy company, Flovale, have signed a partnership deal. The official signing ceremony took place at a press conference on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, GRA in Lagos. Present at the signing ceremony are CEO of Flovale, Opeoluwa Runsewe, president of NRFF, Ademola Aare, Secretary General of NRFF, Oludare Davies and NRFF General Manager, Azeez Oladipo, who was a former captain of Nigeria’s men’s rugby national team the Black Stallions. Also present at the signing ceremony are board members of the rugby federation. In his opening remarks Runsewe said the collaboration marks a significant milestone in their effort to take Nigeria rugby to new heights and signifies a new chapter in the industry of Nigerian rugby and sport at large. “This partnership represents the power of dreams and its indeed a testament to the resilience and passion of the NRFF, the country and community at large. It is also a testament to unwavering commitments towards facilitating the partnership and investment in the sector. “Our partnership with the NRFF will entails endorsements, corporate partnerships and other innovative avenues to ensure to ensure tremendous growth of Nigerian rugby. “We also aim to maximize it commercial potential growth and we are truly honoured to have the opportunity to work with the NRFF in achieving these goals. Runsewe said one of their key objectives, is to engage the media, private sector and other stake holders in further propelling the game of rugby in Nigeria, adding that they recognize the importance of driving impact at all levels, particularly at the grassroots level and in line with their commitment to innovativeness. He expressed his gratitude to the NRFF for entrusting them with the partnership and we are excited to embark on the journey and look forward to making a lasting impact on Nigeria rugby. On his part, NRFF president, Aare stated that with a consummate and passionate individual like Runsewe, partnering with the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation can take the sport to the promise land and believe they can get there.
