Lagos, Delta Emerge Champions Of 24th Milo Secondary School Basketball Championship

Winners have emerged in the 24th edition of Milo Secondary School Basketball Championship. The grand finale of the 2024 edition of the competition took place at the Indoor Hall of the National Stadium Lagos. Ijaye Housing Estate Grammar School, Lagos defeated Father O’Connell Science College, Niger State 49-45 in a keenly contested men's final. The two teams were tied 38-38 at the end of the fourth quarter. The Lagos Boys won the game in extra-time. The Managing Director of Nestlé Nigeria Plc, Mr Wassim El-Husseini, commended the participants for embodying the spirit of competition and congratulated everyone on their journey. He said, “The participants embodied a spirit of competition that this championship fosters. To every player, coach, and supporter, your journey here is a testament to your hard work and commitment. The championship also featured a special category for young people with disabilities, highlighting its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
