Former Nigerian international Peter Ijeh has faulted the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to part ways with former Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George. Recall that Finidi tendered his resignation following NFF's plan to hire a foreign coach who will mentor him. Under his reign, the Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw against South Africa before losing 2-1 to Benin in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
