NERD Clearance Slip verification guide

Nigeria Education Repository and Databank, NERD, has issued a circular on the verification of the NERD Clearance Slip. The notice addresses false messages being shared among students. NERD said some students were told to return to their schools for verification or stamping of the clearance slip; the agency said that claim is false. NERD clearance slip verification method NERD stated that the approved way to verify the clearance slip is through the barcode on the slip. Once the barcode is scanned, the student’s details will appear automatically. If the details shown match the student’s records, then the clearance is valid.
