RUGIPO Commences 2025/2026 Admission

By Sunday AfolayanThe management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), has announced the commencement of admission into it various National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. This was the fallout of the meeting of the institution's central admission committee on Monday where the Acting Registrar of the polytechnic, Mr Michael Oloye announced that the first batch of admission lists will be released soon, and candidates who have applied are advised to keep an eye on the institution's portal for updates.According to him, candidates who are offered admission should accept their admission and pay their acceptance fee immediately to secure their offer and ensure that the admission process is completed within the stipulated timeframe for a smooth transition into the new academic session. Sequel to this, interested candidates have been asked to check the school portal regularly for updates on the admission process. The Chairman of the Central Admission Committee and Dean of Faculty of Business Studies, Mr Michael Olopete added that candidates who did not initially select Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, as their first choice can still change to the institution through the JAMB portal as this offers an opportunity for prospective students who may have missed the chance to apply earlier.He explained that RUGIPO, which offers a wide range of programmes across various faculties, including Agricultural Technology, Engineering Technology, Social Sciences and Communication Studies, Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies, and Business Studies, is known for providing quality education and training in various fields of study.The polytechnic, according to a recent survey, boasts of modern facilities that provide enabling environment for students to learn and grow with state-of-the-art laboratories, workshops, and libraries, equipped with the latest technology and resources, ensuring that students have access to the tools they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
