Niger State school reopening 2026: key rules

The Niger State Government has confirmed that schools across the state will reopen on Monday, 12 January 2026. This covers public and private schools. But it’s not a blanket go-ahead for every area. The state tied the reopening to security status, so some schools return on the date, while others stay closed for now.
