OAUSTECH VC hails Nigeria at 65, urges renewed commitment

Vice Chancellor of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Prof. Temi E. Ologunorisa, has congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence anniversary, calling for unity and renewed dedication to national growth.Prof. Ologunorisa, in a goodwill message to staff and students of the institution, described the anniversary as a momentous occasion that reflects Nigeria’s resilience, diversity and indomitable spirit.He commended members of the university community for their contributions to the progress of the institution, noting that their dedication and hard work have continued to make OAUSTECH a beacon of hope and a centre of academic excellence.The VC urged Nigerians to use the celebration as a time for sober reflection on the nation’s journey so far, while also reaffirming their commitment to building a brighter future for the country.“Let us take a moment to reflect on our nation's progress, acknowledge our challenges, and reaffirm our commitment to building a brighter future for ourselves, our communities, and our nation,” he said.While wishing staff, students and Nigerians a happy celebration, Ologunorisa prayed for God’s blessings on the country and guidance towards a more prosperous and united future.
