Google Pixel 9a Price Leaked

The Google Pixel 9a is expected to be launched around May 2025, during the Google I/O event. This device will come with a new design, where the rear panel no longer has a camera bar – instead it is now completely flat. It is also expected to be powered by the same Tensor G4 chip as the Pixel 9, as well as a 48MP camera. Most recently, its selling price has been leaked.According to Android Headlines, which often leaks accurate information about Google Pixel devices, the selling price of the Pixel 9a will be the same as the Pixel 8a. This means that the 128GB model will be sold at $499 (~RM2,192), but unfortunately the 256GB model is sold at a more expensive price of $599 (~RM2,632). The Pixel 9a is among the Pixel devices that will be sold in Malaysia.Since the Pixel in Malaysia is distributed by the same distributor as the Singapore market, we can see the selling price trend there. The Pixel 8a is priced at SGD799 (~RM2,596) for 128GB, and SGD899 (~RM2,921) for 256GB. The difference in the Pixel 9's selling price there and in Malaysia is around 3%, so the Pixel 9a will probably be sold at around RM2,699 for the 128GB model.The highlight of the Pixel 9 when it goes on sale in Malaysia is the storage upgrade from 128GB to 256GB and receiving a one-year Gemini Advance subscription.
