YouTube Expands Automatic Audio Dubbing Feature Worldwide

Two years ago, YouTube announced a Multi Audio feature where channel owners could upload audio tracks in different languages ​​alongside their original videos. With this feature, viewers could then have an audio track that they understood, similar to the language features on DVDs and current streaming platforms. At the time, the feature was only available to channels with large followings like MrBeast and Mark Rober.Today, YouTube announced that the Multi Audio feature will be available to millions of content creators in just a few weeks. This time, the original audio on the video will be automatically dubbed using Google Gemini artificial intelligence. The audio track in the other language will use the content creator’s original voice.In addition to automatically offering different audio tracks, YouTube is also testing the display of thumbnail images that also use different languages. With this feature and different audio tracks, YouTube says that views can jump by up to 25% compared to using only the original audio and thumbnail.
