IKEA Now Selling Bergvattnet Water Usage Meter in Malaysia

Water rates have been rising in Malaysia since the beginning of this month and showering is one of the biggest contributors to high bills. For those who want to be more aware of the amount of water used for bathing, the Bergvattnet meter is now available from IKEA Malaysia.Bergvattnet has a water usage meter, a timer and a water temperature indicator that is connected directly to the water heater outlet. A large screen will show water usage and time spent showering in real time.The water also has a secondary outlet for water that is channeled into a bucket. After use, Bergvattnet will store water usage information for two minutes. This way, each household member will know who showered the longest and used the most water.Bergvattnet requires two AA batteries to operate and is priced at RM 279 each and will be offered for a limited time.
