MSWG sounds alarm on deep discounts in takeover deals

KUALA LUMPUR: Minority shareholders in Malaysia are increasingly being forced to exit at deeply discounted valuations during privatisation and takeover exercises, with some offers slashed by as much as 60 per cent from fair value, according to the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG).
