This is to avoid any confusion that may arise among the public.Razarudin said that mobile phone checks on individuals will only be conducted in an investigation case. In addition, it is conducted based on existing laws as provided for in the Federal Constitution. His party will also not arbitrarily and randomly conduct checks on people's mobile phones in public places. This means that there must be information, intelligence or reasonable suspicion that a person has committed an offense or crime.He also stressed that the checks will only be conducted by police officers with the rank of Inspector and above.
