RinggitPlus Parent Company Takes Over CompareHero

The parent company behind the financial services comparison platform, RinggitPlus, Jirnexu, today announced they will take over CompareHero. The takeover process is expected to be completed in early July 2024.The acquisition of CompareHero is expected to continue to strengthen Jirnexu's position in the financial arena in Malaysia, as well as facilitate access and comparison between financial services easily. It is also expected to provide a wider market reach than before.Under this takeover agreement as well, MoneyHero Group - the parent company behind CompareHero will get a small equity stake in Jirnexu.RinggitPlus and CompareHero will continue to operate as separate brands for the time being, but their respective technologies and advantages are expected to be integrated in further strengthening the product offering.
