Yoodo's journey has already ended on August 29, 2024, leaving the brand in the grave. Further to that, now customers who do not switch to other telecommunications companies will be able to continue using CelcomDigi.The existing Yoodo application is now rebranded to “Formerly Yoodo”, and uses the CelcomDigi logo on the icon and also on the application start screen. Other offers look more or less the same, including in terms of packages and plans.Apart from this temporary rebranding, it looks like there will be no major changes for customers who choose to stay with Yoodo for now.Previously, the MCMC had requested that the Yoodo brand be sold, or closed due to the merger of Celcom and Digi. With this new change, it appears that Yoodo has been absorbed into CelcomDigi - and it is not known whether it has received permission from the MCMC or otherwise.
