Sony PlayStation 5 Pro Officially Launched – Price RM3849

Sony PlayStation 5 Pro is now officially launched in Malaysia with upgrades given to the processor chip, memory and storage compared to the regular PlayStation 5. As we previously reported, the PS5 Pro is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Zen 2 chip with 8 cores and 16 processing threads paired with an AMD RDNA-based GPU with a power of 16.7 Teraflops.This is a nearly double improvement over the 10.23 Teraflops on the original PS5 model. In terms of performance, it puts the PS5 Pro's GPU performance higher than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and AMD Radeon RX 6800.This is paired with 16GB GDDR6 RAM memory and also an additional 2GB DDR5 RAM memory that is only used for console operations that are not related to video games. Storage is 2TB of SSD type.The console will be launched on November 7 at a price of RM3849 with the 55 video games below confirmed to support PS5 Pro's enhanced graphics mode.
