The Dyson OnTrac Is Their Second Headphone – Doesn't Come With Air Purifying Functionality

A few years ago, Dyson showed off their first audio product, the Dyson Zone which comes with a feature that cleans the air around your head, which might come in handy if you're in an area with serious pollution issues.Recently, Dyson has shown off their second pair of headphones, called the Dyson OnTrac, which looks to come with a design that may not be as unique as the Dyson Zone, but retains some of the design features that let people know they're wearing a pair of Dyson headphones.OnTrac headphones are seen with an industrial design, combining aluminum metal with a variety of colors that can be changed. This also includes interior cushions that can be modified with various color options, depending on the user's wishes.In terms of audio quality, Dyson OnTrac uses a 40mm audio driver which according to Dyson, can process audio in the frequency range of 40Hz up to 21KHz which promises processing of bass, treble and high notes that do not hurt the ears.Apart from the Bluetooth wireless connection, if you want to connect these headphones to a DAC or amplifier, you can do so through the built-in 3.5mm audio plug connection. It also comes with support for the ANC active noise cancellation feature. For wireless connectivity, Dyson says the OnTrac headphones are capable of playing audio from the device for up to 55 hours on a single full charge.The Dyson OnTrac is seen at a price tag of $500 and like all their products, is marketed as a premium product, and will go on sale in select markets first. For now it is not known yet if Dyson Malaysia will bring in these headphones.
