TikTok Lite App Exposes Users To Harmful Content

I'm sure not many people know about the existence of the TikTok Lite - Save Data application. It is a light version alternative application that requires 2GB RAM memory, 9MB storage space and 2G or 3G Internet access. This application is also offered in Malaysia, but did you know that this application exposes users to dangerous content?In Mozilla's security report, because TikTok Lite is not popular enough Bytedance seems to ignore this application compared to regular TikTok. First of all, this application is said to not have enough control such as the content of videos teasing people, videos of dangerous actions, content with political elements all without labels or any warnings. The application also lacks security tools to filter content and limit usage to prevent obsession.For now no update will be done on TikTok Lite because they do not admit that there is any wrongdoing and claim that the application has the same treatment and features as the main TikTok application even though Mozilla has presented strong evidence. Our suggestion is, just use the regular TikTok which is guaranteed to have many security features and don't take the risk of trying an application that not many people use.
