TNG eWallet Now Provides EV Charging Facilities at Selected Locations

Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet offers electric vehicle charging facilities (EV Charging) that allow users to easily charge their vehicles at selected locations. This facility is supported by Voltality, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beep, and connects users to various EV charging networks in Malaysia and Singapore without having to download other operator applications.Payments are also made easier through TNG eWallet with automatic deductions without having to enter card information, make separate top-ups or have different accounts. In addition, any unused balance will be automatically returned to the user’s TNG eWallet account in a short time. How to use EV charging via TNG eWallet:Place the vehicle at the charging space and ensure that the smartphone has a stable internet connection.Open the TNG eWallet application and look for the ‘EV Charging’ icon and tap on it.Search for a charging location either via the map view or the location list.Select an available charger or scan the QR code on the charger.Connect the charger securely and ensure there are no obstructions to the socket or charger.Tap ‘Next’ when ready and charging will begin automatically. To stop charging, swipe ‘Slide to Stop Charging’ and remove the charger from the vehicle.Users will receive confirmation after charging is complete. The charging cost will be automatically deducted from the eWallet, and a receipt will be displayed in the EV Charging section.
