Mediatek Dimensity 9500s Introduced With 3nm Build

MediaTek has launched its new Dimensity 9500s chip at an event in China. This chip is positioned slightly below the Dimensity 9500 and is designed specifically for flagship phones.It is built using TSMC's second-generation 3nm technology with a combination of 1 x Arm Cortex‑X925 at 3.73GHz, 3 x Arm Cortex‑X4 (3.30GHz) and 4 x Arm Cortex‑A720 (2GHz).The chip is also equipped with special technology that can increase application speed by up to 44%, in addition to using the Arm Immortalis‑G925 with ray tracing support. In addition, AI capabilities allow various tasks to be performed directly on the device.The Dimensity 9500s also comes with a high-performance autofocus engine and offers fast capture. In addition, it is equipped with a video processing engine based on intelligent analysis for clearer images while support for 8K HDR recording with Dolby Vision also improves the quality of the video experience.The chip supports a 5G Release-17 modem with download speeds of up to 7Gbps. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 up to 6.5Gbps, while a new Bluetooth feature enables phone-to-phone connections at distances of up to 5km without the need for a cellular network.
